BNI Europa’s deposits benefit from a refund guarantee provided by the Deposit Guarantee Fund whenever there is the unavailability of deposits for reasons directly relating to the bank’s financial situation, up to a maximum of 100.000€ per depositor.

The deposits are guaranteed whether the depositors are Portuguese residents or not and whether deposits are denominated in national or foreign currency. If the deposits balances are denominated in foreign currency, the amount will be converted into euros at the exchange rate of the day.
