Alternative Dispute Resolution

Banco BNI Europa has joined, under the terms of the legislation in force, the following alternative dispute resolution entities that are part of the Consumer Arbitration Network:

Lisbon Consumer Dispute Arbitration Center: www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt

National Center for Consumer Conflict Information and Arbitration: www.cniacc.pt

Banco BNI Europa guarantees its Clients recourse to alternative means of dispute resolution, through the aforementioned entities, when disputes arise from the provision of payment services and the issuance of electronic money.

Banco BNI Europa also provides access to the Online Dispute Resolution Platform for resolving disputes arising from services contracted online (“ODR platform”). The ODR platform is available on the European Commission’s website. For more information, consult the ODR Platform and, if you wish to access it, use the registration form.

Clients can obtain up-to-date information on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies from the competent national authority (Directorate-General for the Consumer) on the Consumer Portal: www.consumidor.pt.

In addition to the means mentioned above, Clients can also submit complaints to Banco BNI Europa in the Complaints Book, which is also available and accessible there, or directly to Bank of Portugal using the form available at www.bpoportugal.pt.
